Feelings are okay. It’s what we do with them. They are like a little check engine light that turns on in our car when we need to pay attention to what’s going on inside. They point us in the direction of something that might need assessment, healing, or intervention.
Sometimes our feelings are so heavy that we need to express them to a safe person, someone that is so confident in themselves that whatever we express, it will not impact their view of themselves and because of that, they can sit with us in our feelings.
